About The Products

My online shop reflects what I do in my clinical work: it both supports the 1:1 consultations with patients, and acts as a range of standalone products to help gently support you and your needs.

I use my skills as a clinical herbalist to develop and formulate products to meet a variety of needs. I will have specific instructions on each product, to give guidance as to who they are suitable for, but if you're in any doubt, please drop me a line and I can help you to curate a regime that suits you.

In terms of safety: I am registered with the local council for food safety, and all of my skin/bath products have been assessed by an independent chemist for safety, so you know you're not only getting a beautifully crafted product, but a safe one, too.

​

In terms of sustainability, this is something which is incredibly important to me, and something I wanted to incorporate into my core values.

How to Recycle and Reuse Packaging

*Please do check with your Local Authority to ensure these materials can be recycled in your area, there will be variations from place to place* 

​

Tea and Herbal Blends - The bags and labels are biodegradable! You can put this in your compost, or kerbside composting bin

​

Restore Bath Herbs - The foil lined bags are not currently recyclable. The labels are biodegradable though, so if you remove these, they can go into kerbside composting or home compost.

​

Aromatherapy Roll Ons - The body is glass, the rollerball is PP plastic and cap is HDPE plastic. You could reuse the entire product at home yourself, reuse the glass portion on its own, or recycle the entire empty packaging when you're done. The labels on these are biodegradable - so peel these off and pop them into your home compost, or kerbside compost bin.

Nurture and Nourish Glass Jars - The body is glass, and the lid is HDPE plastic. These are designed to be used with the refill products, so a perfect way to keep waste down! If you're not doing that, then you could reuse the jar at home or recycle when you're done. The labels on these are biodegradable - so peel these off and pop them into your home compost, or kerbside compost bin.

Nurture + Nourish Refill packs - Both the packets and the labels for these are biodegradable, so the whole lot can go into your compost, or kerbside compost when you're finished!

Soak Relaxing Bath Salts - The body is glass, and the lid is HDPE plastic. The jars can be reused at home (Sallyanne from Holistic Kitchen says that these make excellent tea light holders, and I have to say, I agree!) The labels on these are biodegradable - so peel these off and pop them into your home compost, or kerbside compost bin.

Relax + Release Massage Oils - The bottle is glass, and the lid and pump is PP plastic. You could reuse the empties at home or recycle when you're done. The labels on these are biodegradable - so peel these off and pop them into your home compost, or kerbside compost bin.

Soothe Balm - This can be recycled in kerbside recycling - or reused! The labels on these are biodegradable - so peel these off and pop them into your home compost, or kerbside compost bin.

​

Herbal Medicine PET bottles - You can reuse these if you wish! They can also be recycled in your kerbside recycling. These labels are non recyclable at present, so will need to go in with general waste please. 

​

Address, batch and Logo labels - these are also non recyclable at the moment, so these do need to go into the general waste bin again please.

All the post packaging I use can be recycled or reused:

Most orders are sent out either in a cardboard box, or a Green Jiffy bag which can easily be reused or recycled.  

For packaging, I use compostable packing peanuts and recycled and recyclable brown paper to keep your products nice and safe. If you're receiving herbs from me, you may get a reused Jiffy bag and/or reused bubble wrap too. I actively avoid buying more of this, and will use recycled paper if I've no repurposed bubble wrap to hand!

I hope that this has given you a bit more insight into the ethos of the products: everything from formula to packaging has been carefully thought of and sourced, to ensure you're getting the best products, with minimal impact to the environment.
